Busy As A Bee this Week!!!

First off!! HAPPY EASTER EVERYBODY!!! Hope ya'lls was just AMAZING!!! Ours was egg-cellent ;) We just did the church thing then went over to my golden gram's for a yummy din din, Easter Egg hunt, and some games. Sadly, I wasn't able to take pics because my lil cutie patootie broke my camera the day before Easter while we were out to eat for Bri's birthday. Looks like I know what those two kiddos are gettin me for Mother's day :D

This week is going to be a busy one though. Tomorrow, I have a doctors appointment and the Direct TV people coming to move our dish onto a tripod. Since our apartment is so mad about that, they threatened to kick us out. Pinnacle Highland Apartments are such sweethearts. I love our apartment-- HATE the people that run it. ha So, needless to say tomorrow we are going to be runnin' around like crazy. :D

Thursday, is the biggest and most fun day: KENSI GETS HER CAST OFF!!! She will be plaster free in just a lil over a day. We cannot wait. She will immediately be taken home and put in her baby jeggings :D

Friday, I get to go get a consult for my wisdom teeth to be taken out(Oooo joy). FOLLOWED BY THE PRINCESS PARTY!!! Ya know, since I couldn't make it all the way to London to witness the wedding. I was so bummed I had to RSVP with a know. I was at the TOP of that invite list ha

Needless to say, we have a busy couple of days a head of us. It's good to be busy though!!! I'm dying without a camera let me tell ya, and WAY need one for all the big events that have been happenin. Only 2 weeks! Toodles ya'll!!! Sorry no pics this time :D

I've got the best hubby and lil gal ever!!!

I am just so lucky to have Bri-guy as my lil hubby. Today I was sick(mainly just cramps) and he was so dang helpful. He even went and picked me up my fav fast food-- Chick-fil-a and a chocolate milkshake :D

Kensi is just a lil sweetheart. She was so good for me today while I was layin on the couch with a heating pad glued to my tummy. She just laid by me and was giving me kisses and talking. She loves her Huggums baby doll...and just gives it kisses...She sometimes will even shove it in my face for me to give it a kiss too. I just love my lil Kensi girl so dang much.

I know my last post was talkin bout how I was bummed I wasn't getting pregnant. Today, I've come to the realization, I am just content with how my life is right now. I have the best hubby and best lil gal ever. They can make a bad day amazing with just a smile...and some yummy food :D I really am lucky. I have an amazing family. We have a cute apartment(even though I'm always shoppin for new furniture). We have a SWEET pup and I am just super content today. I don't need any more kids...yet. Kensi is enough to make me happy :D Toodles for now!!!

Baby Hungry :(

So, I am really wanting another baby... Kensi is growin' up so fast and I think she needs a little brother or sister. Me and Brian haven't neccessarily been trying ever since we had Kensi, but we haven't done anything to not try. The last 3 months we have been trying... and every month it is so discouraging when my "visitor" comes. It always leaves me sad :( Today was especially hard. I'm a day late( I know this may be TMI, but most the people that read this are family ha) so I took a pregnancy test... Negative. I cried... probably PMS since it's not the other haha It's just hard. I know that Heavenly Father probably knows when is the best time to give us our lil second, but it's so hard when it's not right when I want it. I've always struggled with patience...and I think this has been the hardest. I'm just glad I have my smiley Kensi and funny pup Daisy. I'll just keep hopin' and praying for this to happen again.

Kensi's sleeping, Bri is golfing... and I'm home alone in our clean house with nothin' to do.... So I'm online shopping... for our house.... that we won't have/even get for like over a year haha Thanks PB and Ballard Designs for entertaining me :D

Lastly... I love birds...and sadly today... my toothbrush canister broke... I think this set would be an excellent replacement!!! Maybe the Easter Bunny could make me some since I don't have the play money to buy it haha Ooo wishful thinking....

Shopping is my own personal torture... I always find tons of pretty things I cannot get... sadness... One day!!! For now... I will just lust after everything at PB and Ballard for fun ha Toodles!!!

Daisy is in the Dog House!!!

This is Daisy--she is cute... but she can be a stinker butt at times... Mostly when it comes to potty training. Potty training this lil white fur ball, has NOT been easy. She likes to get back at ya if she's mad, by doing something naughty in the house. Like when I worked all day, when I immediately let her out of her cage, even though I was fixin to take her out... she'd do something just to spite me. Finally, I let her roam around free while we were gone. That was all fine and dandy and then she started leaving not so nice surprises for us when we got home. Needless to say, potty trainin her has been a pain. She now gets taken out every 3 hours...even in the middle of the night... I wake up with her at 3 and 6am to take her majesty outside. And.. on top of that, all the doors inside our house(Kensi's room, master bedroom) HAVE TO BE SHUT!!! It's a pain in the butt, and I know it's super hard for Bri to remember, but it's a must. Because as soon as that door to our bedroom is open...even if she had just been taking out... she feels the need to go mark her territory and squeezes out all the yellow stuff she can... It's annoying, and ticks me off. She does good, when it's just me and her at home, but when daddy comes home and is a little bit out of sync with the way things have to work with Daisy an accident happens, and 30 mins of my day are spent cleaning up after her. Some days, I really think about givin her away. She makes my house stink and it's hard takin care of her needs and Kensi's needs. But then I look at her sweet lil face and my heart melts. As for now though.... Daisy IS in the doghouse and I am not in the mood for her kisses or snuggles. She can just walk around with her tail in between her legs and ears pinned back until this doggy mom is cooled off.

Bottom line: DOGS ARE A TON HARDER THAN KIDS!!!!!!!!!! I'm going to call her lil vet for some tips...I need help. It's unrealistic to keep all doors closed and I'm tired of getting in lil tifts with Bri guy for not shutting the door. HELP!!!

Thankful for Prayer :D

So if you are my family or one of my besties, you know I got this annoying worry wart gene passed down to me from my dad ha Sometimes, it is a real pain in the tushy!!! Earlier this week, I found something to stress over about Kensi for when she gets older, and I was losing sleep, and doing tons of research online(NEVER a good idea), and was just letting the worry take over my life. Brian has learned to deal with it, and I think finds it amusing, but I didn't find too much humor in it when I was losing sleep ha Finally a couple of days ago, I got down on my knees and prayed. It was a long 30 minute prayer, with me crying my eyes out and just in a glass case of emotion. The whole time I was praying, it was just like Heavenly Father was right there with me, just pattin' me on the back saying kiddo everything is just fine-- you have nothin' to worry about. The first time, I thought this, I was like it's all in my head because that's what I want so horribly bad, but throughout this LONG prayer, there was just something...or someone telling me--Kelsey, Kensi is going to be just fine-- you have nothing to worry about--she's not going to get it... even now thinking of that night... I am teary eyed, and just sooooo thankful for the power of prayer. And when there is no one else to turn to, to talk about your problems with, he is just a kneel and a prayer away. And if you are willing to listen, he will answer your prayers. I know sometimes it is not immediate, but on that night, during that prayer, I know in my heart, without a doubt he was answering my prayers immediately. And the spirit in the living room was just like a big giant hug and happiness and relief. I love my Heavenly Father. I love my religion. I love prayer... especially prayer. It has been the one thing I have had to turn to in many times of my life...and He is always there for me. I know I am going on and on, but I was just overwhelmed with gratitude this week for the answer I was given. And for the peace of mind I have now. There's my lil preaching for tonight!!! Kensi Turned 8 months--2 days ago :D

Sooo our cute lil miss Kensington is 8 months(and 2 days) haha now!!! I can't believe how fast she is growin up... wish I could just freeze time for a lil while!!! I love the age she's at right now. Couple of things she's doing that are amazingly cute these days:

SHE LOVES GIVING KISSES!!! she'll stop eatin' her bottle or playin' and grab both sides of my face and give me these super long kissing sessions ha She also does the same thing as I'm tuckin her into bed :D I love getting kisses from her-- makes me feel so loved!!! I think she may be learning some kissing moves from Daisy though-- because sometimes she licks ya too hahaha

She holds her bottle so so good now :D I think the cast helps balance it a little but it is so so cute!!!

She LOVES Diet Dr. Pepper-- if I put it in a sippy cup... I'm pretty sure she'd chug it down like her formula ha Sadly for her, I won't. But when we go out to eat, I know she demands a few sips from my straw here and there ha

She eats soft people food now, if I have some at dinner, instead of baby food sometimes. She loves mashed potatoes. Refried beans... not so much!!! ha LOVES chocolate milk shakes and ice cream :D

She looks teeny tiny underneath that cast. I think she is just going to be a lil tiny petite thing her whole life. :D

She talks all the time and makes all kinds of different noises. Mama sounds while she cries...gaga and baba while she's talkin to me. She likes to roar like a lion and make rooty tooty noises too ha I just sit and talk with her all day and love it.

I just wish our lil bundle of cuteness would stop growing and time would freeze for a while... She is gettin way too big way too fast!!!! Love our lil Kensi girl so much!!! Happy 8 months!!!!

Weekend Updateroo!!!

This weekend was a fun but super busy one at the Lil Lowe House!!!! Filled with cleaning, friends,homework(for brian), church, family, and LOTS of fun!!!!!

Friday, we went to Outback steakhouse which is ALWAYS a good idea!!! Kensi loves going out to eat, especially since she gets lil drops of water/dr.pepper from our straws, which just makes her life a lil bit better ha She also is great at holding the menu while ya pick out what ya want to eat... she flings it RIGHT up close in front of your face so you can read just amazingly ;) ha And I finally got my wedding ring back from getting it cleaned-- I felt like I kept forgetting something when I didn't have it for a week!!! Yikes, that was way too long...but so worth it!!! It looks like brand new and just super sparkly. I LOVE my wedding ring!!! (good job Bri-guy :D) And one of the most exciting things about Friday-- we got a new umbrella stroller to push Kensi around in. Which is amazing, because bug car trunks+ regular strollers= not getting to take a stroller and hardcore arm workout. Now when me and Kensi go shopping, she has a comfy seat to stroll in and my arm isn't killing majorly at the end of the day. I'm just glad I finally found a cute one without all the tacky pictures in bright colors they put on. It's a simple grey stroller with black piping... and we love it!!! Bri's highlight of Friday--going to lunch and golfing with his buddy Farr!!!

Saturday, was deep clean the house day for me!!! The house is so fresh and so clean clean now!!! Love when my house is in tip top shape... I can relax a lot easier! Bri got a TON of homework done and I had a fun GNO with my girlies, Mads and Bethany. I was just missing miss Kensi and all my besties that are girls would have been with me--but she was getting to have a daddy daughter night at home :D Me and the gals went to cheesecake for a yummy dinner and then came home and just hung out for a lil bit. Bri loved his leftovers I'm sure!!!

Today, was church/family day!! We went to church today and o my goodness I just love our ward. I know I say it all the time, but every week I meet a new nice person. They are just a ward full of sweethearts. Kensi was good, the only reason she had to get taken out into the hallway was for making farting noises all through Sunday School and making happy screams ha Then we came home and had lunch and the much needed Sunday nap. When we got up, I gathered up stuff for dinner and we headed to my grandpa's house to cook him some yummy dinner!!! Ranch chicken, ranch mashed potatoes, parmesan green beans, and lemon cake for dessert!!! It was amazing!! Mads and I can make some pretty yummy din dins!!! We all stayed and talked for awhile and Bri got all of his homework done!! WHOO HOO!!!

Only downer is, it is still snowing and its APRIL!!! Ok Utah, you just keep giving me more reasons not to be a fan of you!!!! Bring on the sunshine to move up a spots in my book!!! ha

Missin my besties!!!

I am really missin my lil besties today. As ya get older, it's harder to make friends. And ya find out friends you thought were your friends, were just fake being nice to you...which sucks. Ya know the ones that always say ya should hang out and then stand ya up or that never call, and are just fake being nice and ya can so tell??? There are some days I just wish I my besties lived close to me... especially since Mads is ALWAYS busy with school or work. I just wish somehow, I could be right next to Chels and Kayla(my two besties who aren't family... but close enough to it). Ya cant ask for better friends than these two. They are always there for me, no matter what. I just love them. They really are like my sisters. Also, what I wouldn't give to have Ry and my lil mom next door too. I'd hit the bestie trifecta-- and could just go with a different one every day. It's nice knowing they are all just a phone call away. I know I'll never find friends like them again!!!! Love all you girlies!!!

A lil Dose of Kensi cuteness!!!

So last night I took some pics of Kensi in her lil cast!!! I think she is the only person that could make a hot pink cast look so stinkin cute!!!! only 3 more weeks and we are cast free!!! I don't know who will be more excited--her...or me! haha

Other good news:

WE GET TO GO BACK TO HER PEDIATRICIAN DR. DAVIS!!!! I'm so thankful for answered prayers ha that U of U clinic was a wee bit scary..and I just love her lil doctor... He's just cute with her!!!!

Welly Howdy Do!!

Hey ya'll!! I know it has been FOREVER since I have updated this lil thing-- life has been busy!!!! Lots of going down to each of my grandparents houses and hanging out with my sister and her hubs---HE'S FINALLY BACK FROM BASIC TRAINING IN GEORGIA!!! Yay for Mads!!!!

Here's the latest news with the Lil Lowes!!!!

We'll start with Lil Miss Kensington!!!!

She is still the cutest baby alive and Bri and I have figured out who she looks like,other than the Gerber baby, my lil sister Ryland!!!! Kensi LOVES giving out kisses these days. She will stop eating her bottle, or playin with her toys and grab each side of my face with her cute lil hands and give me a big ol' kiss after she gives me a big ol' smile. She looks like she is going to be super duper teeny tiny when she gets this cast off, in like 23 days!!!!! She has started to scoot around in her lil cast ha It's funny to watch because she has about 3 lbs of plaster in the splits she's working with ha She LOVES mashed potatoes and her chocolate milk shakes. I had one and she was madder than a hornet when I was not sharing as well as she thought I should. And even more mad when I gave her the empty cup and there was none left. Maybe since that's what I ate all the time when she was in my tummy is why its her favorite!!! She's lil miss independent and THINKS she can hold her bottle better than I can... I let her think that until she drops it and finally lets me step in!!! She loves Daisy-- they are besties!!! She is our phone talker-- she could talk to her MiMi all day long!!! I love how she recognizes my mom's voice and gets all excited when she hears it, even if its just on my voicemail. She also loves her Aunt Madi!!!! She is like her second mommy. ha She giggles all the time-- especially when I talk like Minnie Mouse-- gets her gigglin every time!!! She gets her toe nails painted a light pink all the time and boy does she have cute lil piggies!!!! Yes, our lil girl is the cutest lil gal ever!!!! :D We love her!!

Brian is startin to apply for jobs-- in the South-- because that is where WE want to be. We know LOTS of people love Utah, but it's not the place we wanna live and die and raise our kiddos. We want Kensi and our other lil kiddos to grow up in a place with lots of different people and realize there are amazing people who are NOT Mormon like Bri and I grew up. Also, we just think the South is soooooo pretty. Ya wake up in the morning and there are tons of trees in front of your house and way green and that's what we both prefer. If ya drive forever in a day in Utah, ya can find a pretty place, but we want to be surrounded in amazingness.

But there is still that 50% chance we may stay here with his job that he has so we have been looking at houses. This is the number one contender-- 4 bed, 2 1/2 bath, basement!!! We love it!!! But we'd do a different color stucko and shutters. I so cannot wait to pick out every lil thing from the carpet to the cabinets to the door knobs in our own house... with a backyard for Daisy!!! It comes in both these styles... I like the first one better!!!

It's in Eagle Mountain and right in our price range-- we are so excited about it!!!!

As for me, I'm just gearin' up for the Easter bunny-- getting baskets ready and plannin' for Bri's birthday!!! Lots of cleaning and now with thoughts of a new house approaching... doing lots of decorating in my mind. I've been looking for couches at G.V. and just pickin out furniture. I know it's a lil ways a way but I'm so dang anxious. Also, I still love my black and white house, but as soon as the holidays are over-- we are going to be getting some color in this joint. I have gotten the okay to have pink and yellow accents. I just don't like the red with the black-- I know that's what everyone's doing but it's too dark!!! We need some sunshine in this house-- so hello yellow and pink. I still think it would be so fun to be an interior decorator ha Oh well!!!! Also, I am baby hungry again-- Kensi is growin up so fast and I think she needs a brother or sister soonish :D haha Whatdya say Bri?!??!?!

As for Daisy pup, she has a visitor that all girls get and is having to wear diapers and is absolutely miserable. She just mopes around-- Luckily, she only gets it twice a year-- Jealous!!!That's all that is going on with us!! Sorry for the lack of pics-- I've been slackin off lately :/ Toodles ya'll!!!
