8.eight.8!!!!!!

It's only been a month since I've started my diet and I'm down 8!!! pounds!!! I'm so dang excited... 2 lbs away from my goal and then I think I'll go for 2-3 lbs more!!! I'm so happy that my hard work is paying off. :D Yay!!!!!!!!

KENSI IS BETTER!!! Hallelujah!!

So our big news...is Mr. Flu bug has decided to leave our house. This morning we had a lil scare he had returned all too soon when she threw up her baby formula, but turns out her tummy was just not ready for 8 oz. chugged in a sitting-- just 3 oz at a time please :D His stay was NOT appreciated and hopefully he won't come for a very long while... to celebrate--Kensi and I had a photo shoot. :D

Feeling A lil Discouraged!!!

So, I've been on a lil diet and working my hiney off to lose weight!! I've lost 7 lbs, but now I think I've hit the point where it is going to be harder to lose weight. I'm doing everything I did before...workin' out everyday and countin my calories... and no lbs. lost this week... sucksssssss!!! Oh well... just gotta keep on trucking... they'll fall off in no time right???

Also, this week has been tough.... Kensi has had the flu.all.week.long!!!! Poor lil bugger :( It just breaks my heart to see her puking and my nose doesn't like the way all her diarrhea smells. All of her clothes, and bedding, and blankets...were not a fan of it either!!! Seems like we are almost done with it though!!! No puke and hardly any nasty poops too!! Hallelujah!!!

Summer To Do List!!!

So a few days ago, while Bri, Kensi, and I were on a walk, we came up with our Summer to Do list for our most likely LAST summer in UTAH(fingers crossed). Here's what we came up with!!!

Take Kensi to Hogle Zoo
Walk around Thanksgiving Point
Go to Cowabunga Bay
Have my Aunt Natalie take some family pics of us OUTSIDE!!! With Daisy too ;)
Go on a Drive up To Logan
Eat at Best Burger!!!!!
Go on a family walk and get a Shaved Ice
Go to Seven Peaks( we'll just Check that one off right now :D )
Go to see my rents in New Orleans-- CAN.NOT.WAIT. For AUGUST!!!
Go down to St. George so Bri can see his rents
While down in St. George... Kensi, Bri, and I will take a mini road trip to Las Vegas during the DAY--I HATE Vegas at Night.
Go to a Carnival :D

Seven Peaks!!

So last weekend for something fun to do Mads, Bri-guy and me went to Seven Peaks!!! We had a blasteroo at the water park and luckily NONE of us got burnt!!! Whoo Hoo!! Here are some pics, Bri didn't want me posting them on facebook :D

Kensi Update!!!

Kensi has two lil teeth coming in!!! So glad that she is taking it like a champ and hasn't even been fussy. She is just the cutest thing ever!!! Love her to death!!!

10 Months!!!

Holy cow!!! Our lil Kensi girl is 10 months old!!! She's getting so big so fast!!! She can sit up all by herself now and rolls all over the place. :D She's trying to figure out how to crawl...so it should be happening soon!!! She talks all the time... I wonder how many times a day she says "mom mom". She is a SERIOUS talker!!!! She's always talking. She's so funny!!!! She eats all people food now...with an occasional bottle. It's sooooo nice not having to buy stupid formula all the time and just bein able to give her what we are eating. She LOVES chicken... all kinds :D Her new favorite thing right now: CHINESE FOOD!!! She only likes the rice drenched in soy sauce though.. just like her mama!!! She is a player... her favorite toy: her purse that sings!!! She loves swimming in the pool and will throw a fit if people are swimming and she is not haha She makes us so dang happy. I can't even imagine life without my lil munchkin. :D :D :D

Thankful for the Little Moments!!!

Every day, I'm just going going going....and so is Kensi. We are busy playing and she is busy passin me out orders. I can't even imagine how many times a day this gal says my name each day.

If she wants more food and I'm not gettin a bite to her fast enough--"mom mom"

If anyone else is holding her other than me--"mom mom"

When I finally grab her, a sigh of release and then--"mom mom"

If she is not happy about something(or ticked at me because I didn't guess what she wanted right--"mom mom"

When we are playin and she's staring at me super happy--"mom mom"--that ones my favorite...and it's normally followed by a kiss :D

I just love her so much and everytime I hear her say my name...it just melts my heart.

I was so thankful for the lil moment that just happened tonight. She woke up because she was still a little hungry. Then a miracle happened-- my non snuggler, fell asleep on my snuggling. I started to cry because I just can't even IMAGINE loving anyone or anything more. She is my whole life now and I can NOT even bare to think what it would be like without her. She is the best gift our Heavenly Father has ever given me...well tied for first with Bri ;) hehe

Losing Weight and Feeling Great!!!!

Last Tuesday, Bri-guy and I started a little weight loss plan. My older sister told me about this AMAZING website (myfitnesspal.com) and so I had decided I was going to do that and Jillian Michael's 30 day Shred and Bri thought my plan sounded pretty darn good!!! So here we are a week later almost-- I've lost 3 lbs. and Bri has lost 4 lbs.!!! I am already liking the way I look more-- My face is lookin' a lot skinnier!!! My face is already round enough-- definitely DOESN'T need any help from chubby cheeks hahaha Anyways... I've only got 7 more pounds to go til I'm at my goal weight and I'm having a good time working my toosh off and watchin what I eat!!!! I can't wait to hop on the scale and be my high school weight again-- I way miss my high school bod hahaha

HELLOOOOO SUMMER ;)

So this weekend a WONDERFUL thing happened.... It started to look like SuMmEr!!!! About time that is for sure!! :D So this lil family spent a lot of time outside having fun!!!! Kensi went on her first walk at Murray Park. She had a blasteroo poppin wheelies with dad in her carseat and Bri and I had a blast people watching. Most intriguing person: The goth girl takin pictures of her goth dolls in the bushes... why??? We don't know... kinda creepy and kinda funny all at the same time.

Bri and I got to go on a date last night which was fun since we haven't had a date night minus Kensi girl for awhile. Those dates are fun too, but always nice to have some time to go to a movie or out to eat and not worry about her gettin' all grumpy. Kensi got to go play at her Aunt Madi's last night and now her and CoCo(mads TEENY TINY poodle) are best buddies :D ha
Today we went to church and were lucky enough to have Bri-guy's dad there with us today :D After church, we went over to my sister's house and went swimming since it was 90 flippin degrees outside today!!! Kensi loved splish splashin all around and Bri and Mads had fun working on gettin all golden :D
